Working to make a difference

The Laurel Hill Volunteer Fire Department is located in Northwest Florida, 17 miles northeast of Crestview and 10 miles from Florala, Alabama. We operate out of Station 60 protecting the City of Laurel Hill. We also provide assistance to the Almarante Fire District, Station 50 as needed.

The membership is entirely made up of volunteers. Our members respond 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to alarms, fires, motor vehicle accidents, public assistance calls, etc. (Meet the members here.)

All active fire fighters must complete an extensive physical and complete the Fire Fighter I training program in order to participate actively in fire fighting. In addition, our volunteers take pride in continuing their fire fighter education as courses become available.

Together we strive to make a difference in the Laurel Hill community.
